Join us for an evening sailing on the Thames this summer. Everyone's welcome, whether you're a complete beginner or you've sailed before.

  • Meet at 6pm at Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre, 3-4 Shadwell Pierhead, Glamis Rd, London E1W 3TD.
  • You will be given a buoyancy aid and sailing overalls. Bring spare clothes and shoes as you may get wet getting in and out of the boats. No open toe shoes allowed.
  • Don't forget to complete your consent form – you won't be able to come sailing without completing this.
  • Bring 20p if you want to store your personal belongings in a locker.


These sessions are extremely popular and always fill up quickly. Taster Sessions are non-refundable and bookings cannot be transferred to a different date. If you can't make it, please find someone else to take your place.
