★★★★★ "Strongly recommend…" The Shadwell sailing club is the place to be if you are interested in experiencing London from the view point of the Thames river. The club sails on the river, going all the way from Tower Bridge to O2, sometimes even further out. Everyone is very friendly, brought together by their passion for sailing and there is always a competent helm on the boat, who is willing to share his/her sailing experience and stories. Very steep learning curve as you are exposed from day one to the knowhow of sailing. Strongly recommend to experience at least once, because then you would like to come back!Hugh G.
